The main trade routes

Rue de la République links Place Bellecour and Place de l'Opéra.
This route is considered to be the preferred axis for retailers, with 10 million visits per year. We find 80% of the shops there: Zara, Starbuck, JD Sports, Fnac, Maxi Bazar. Note the presence of the big city centre shops: Printemps and Monoprix.

Rue du Président Eduard Herriot has a high-end offer. The first section of this axis connects Place Bellecour to Place des Jacobins and is considered the luxury axis: Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Rolex, Longchamp, etc. It is introduced into the "Golden Square" of the city.
The second section continues to the Place des Terreaux. It displays a high-end pap offer: El Ganso, Massimo Duti, Boggi, Bexley, Graphity, but also some cafés and restaurants: Grand café des négociants, Perle.

From Place Bellecour, Rue Victor Hugo leads to Perrache station and Place Carnot. It is an exclusively pedestrian street and is bordered by the metro.
It is reputed to be one of the best shopping streets in Lyon. The street is home to cafés, restaurants, shops, services and hotels: MacDonald's, Bagel Corner, Alain Afflelou...
